Sunday evening saw the curtain come down on the Perth & Kinross District Volleyball League with the final round of Recreational League fixtures at Bell’s Sports Centre with Innes Penman’s Hitting Bricks’ side coming out on top after 18 league matches, pipping last year’s winners, Susan Scott’s PLUS Perth Mental Health team into second place.

Having already defeated Heriot Watt University in the first round, Perth & Kinross men’s volleyballers celebrated their second round Scottish Cup adventure at Loch Leven Community Campus on Saturday afternoon taking on Dundee University’s young student side.
Scottish Volleyball’s Edinburgh festival for S2/3 boys and girls took place at Napier University on Tuesday and Kinross High School boys and girls performed well throughout the day despite arriving late due to a horrendous traffic jam on the M90.
Sunday evening’s Perth & District Volleyball League served up some performances worth remembering with the final game of the evening providing most of the drama.
