Sunday evening saw the curtain come down on the Perth & Kinross District Volleyball League with the final round of Recreational League fixtures at Bell’s Sports Centre with Innes Penman’s Hitting Bricks’ side coming out on top after 18 league matches, pipping last year’s winners, Susan Scott’s PLUS Perth Mental Health team into second place.
Sunday evening’s Perth & District Volleyball League served up some performances worth remembering with the final game of the evening providing most of the drama.
The Perth & Kinross 2018/19 volleyball season kicked-off with a very closely fought Recreational Cup.
Congratulations to Perth PLUS Mental Health who retained the Recreational Spring Cup with victory over Giggling Bricks in the final. They add this to the Recreational League title which they won in February having lost only 1 set throughout the entire season.

With Perth’s Seain Cook over in Cyprus this weekend with the Scottish men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Australia, it is back indoors for the local sides as this Sunday sees the Recreational League Cup take place at Bell’s Sports Centre.
